Iowa’s Water & Land Legacy is dedicated to funding the Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Trust Fund. The goal of this fund is to ensure Iowans have access to clean water for healthy lifestyle choices. This includes clean water for recreational use and personal consumption, which both contribute to better health and thus, lower healthcare costs. It also addresses access to water trails and other outdoor opportunities, including stabilizing wildlife habitats for fishing and hunting.
